Because giving is FREE!

We continue with this charming event, but this time in candle light. SO we’re going to ask for people to bring a candle inside a glass bottle, in order to avoid any accidents. You’re not obliged to bring one, but if we all work together we’ll manage to make a completely magical atmosphere.

We’ll remind you that in the GRATIFERIA you can bring whatever you want (or nothing) and leave with whatever you want (or nothing). The GRATIFERIA is a place where no one fills or empties their pockets. It’s about SHARING, trading, because theres no need to receive. It’s not an exchange. There’s no money or anything as such involved. Therefore you can bring nothing and leave with something or vice versa.

We’re attempting to get people to cooperate rather then compete. Our objective in this fair, is to find a way to express the fact that we live in a world of abundance and that we, most of the time, have more things then are necessary. We can help our planet, others and ourselves through GRATIFERIA, because we’re helping minimize the impact on the environment, and lower the production and manufacturing of new products and satisfy the needs of other people.

How do we organize ourselves?

Those who want to bring gifts must be in Arboretum Marbella (look at the “Where are we” of our blog to find us) from 18:30h. and 19:00h, where it will be open to the public for them to enjoy and either bring or take something for free. It’s open from 19h to 23h.

Its a gathering where we bring nice, beautiful and useful things which we don’t use or don’t need. Here they can find new hands that will make the most of them.

So start looking through your possessions to try and find things you’re trying to get ridof, you never knoww: one mans junk is another mans treasure.
